Fire & Facets Collection
The Fire & Facets Collection explores the relationship between flame, form, and material through sculptural candlesticks handcrafted entirely from oak. Each piece combines architectural bases with faceted, gemstone-inspired elements, allowing light to interact with both natural grain and cut surfaces.
The collection includes Pedestal forms, where the faceted element is centered and elevated, and Alters, in which the base is offset and stepped at an angle, incorporating small inset spaces designed to hold glass marbles or personal objects. Together, these variations reflect different ways of holding light—formally, intuitively, and with intention.
The Alters are sculptural hardwood candle forms that introduce movement, asymmetry, and quiet ritual into the Fire & Facet Collection. Handcrafted from thoughtfully composed hardwoods, each Alter features a faceted oak wood gemstone set atop an offset, stepped base—creating a subtle sense of elevation and intention.
The angled foundation shifts the candlestick from purely vertical to quietly dynamic, inviting light to interact with the facets, grain, and shadow in new ways. Small inset details are integrated into the base, allowing space for glass marbles or personal objects, transforming each piece into a functional altar—part display, part contemplative object.
Designed as both a candle holder and a visual focal point, Alters balance structure with expression, offering a grounded yet expressive presence for shelves, tables, and curated spaces.
